| C1 has announced a rugged Windows CE based telematics platform targeting applications in fleet management, vehicle location, navigation, and asset tracking. The company says the TrakPod represents a versatile, economical, and configurable platform for van, truck, and automotive fleet operators. Based on an Intel PXA272 XScale processor operating at speeds of up to 620 MHz, the TrakPod is available as either a generic platform with the Windows CE operating system only, or bundled with additional "field proven" telematics application software and APIs.
