| ACT 8-Button X10 / A10 Wall Mounted Transmitter/Controller, 208/240VAC The TC384 eight button transmitter/controller is an A10 / X10 enhanced powerline carrier wall mounted transmitter designed for 227VAC. Button functions can be configured for multiple control modes by field programming (see details in instructions). The LED on the keypad, used for a guide in programming, also indicates status. The TC transmitter/controller is programmable to any of the 256 X10 address Remote ON/OFF control of lighting or other electrical loads.
Normal wall mount transmitter – The TC284 can be configured to function as a normal wall transmitter, where LED’s track the true status of the receivers the TC284 is transmitting to.
Test Transmitter – The TC284 can be configured to constantly transmit a set of X10 codes, allowing it to be used as a test transmitter when installing other A10 products.
Scheduler – The TC284 can be configured to turn electrical loads on and off at specific time intervals in response to trigger events.
Alarm – The TC284 can be configured to perform specific functions if an X10 code is received from a compatible motion sensor or other device.
Energy Saver – The TC284 can be configured to turn lights OFF a specific amount of time after they have been turned on.
Mood Setter – The TC284 can be configured to dim lights, turn on lights, turn off lights, close shades, turn on music, all at the push of one button.
Security – The TC284 can transmit codes in order of the button presses, allowing for security codes to be transmitted onto the power line. Another TC284 configured to trigger on a specific security code can enable an alarm, disable an alarm, turn on outside lights, disable a television or computer in a child’s bedroom, etc Eight Buttons for control of multiple addresses

Works with the extended code command set of the RD104 and RD114 The TC284 allows the user to configure it’s buttons to transmit any X10 code. Each button may have different letter codes. Each button may have different command codes. Each button can be configured to transmit standard or extended code, or both.
Each TC284 can store and transmit up to 128 address/commands.
Each button on the TC284 can be configured to store and transmit up to 16 address/commands.
Each button supports minute and second delay functions allowing for sophisticated macros that can turn on and off lights after a specific event. Delays can be from 1 second to 51 hours for each button.
Each button supports sequencing, which allows transmission of different address/commands each time the button is pushed.
Each button is capable of being externally triggered by an X10 compatible transmitter. This allows for a button to transmit its configured X10 code(s) without ever having been pushed.
The TC284 has two special modes which allow the user to configure the TC284’s LED’s to track the true status of a receiver.
The TC284 will remember its configuration even if power is lost.
Transmitter will accept a paper insert (provided) behind keys allowing the installer to easily identify and label each button with the load it controls |
