| The Kensington Travel Adaptor is a must for any electronic geek who travels abroad a lot. It is imazing that despite increasing globalisation and the unification and standardisation of many entities around the world, electrical power is one thing that varies around the world. From the US and Canada's 110V 3-round pin supply, to Europe's 250V 2-round pin supply, to Africa's Anglo-european comibination, it is quite easy to accidentally damage a device by plugging it in incorrectly.
The kensington adaptor is a useful, if half-hearted device. The multiple plugs are self contained making it easy to carry, and all that is needed is for the user to select the required one and plug it into the wall. Unfortunately however, this device is NOT a transformer, therefore UK devices sill won't work in the US even with the correct plug. I would advice all buyers to take heed of this before purchasing this product for use in the US. As a result, the only real use for this device would be Europe, Africa and Asia, but that is still a major global coverage.
