Batteries - AA AAA 9V NiMh

Nickel metal-hydride (NiMH) technology has been used commercially since the early 1990's, mainly in consumer applications such as toys and portable electronics. During the earlier part of this period, nickel cadmium (NiCd) was the mainstream technology to which NiMH was often compared. Even in these early days, it was recognised that NiMH batteries were not only able to achieve higher energy density than NiCds, but were more environmentally friendly.
